Hello from Toronto on this very sunny Thursday!

Lots going on our way- as we wade through the next few weeks of re-branding our streamer line, please note our change from Rescue Streamer to SafetyStreamer! We are very excited about the switch, and how we will be able to offer our previous customers & new ones different generations of SafetyStreamers and SNR product.

SafetyStreamers were designed with safety in mind- your safety, and one can guess we are highly invested in the safe practices our adventurous customers use- National Safe Boating Week has been in full swing dedicating May 19th – May 25th to education around safe boating practices, coupled with Ready! Set! Wear it! events happening in Canada & the United states and SafetyStreamer was happy to get involved. Serina Huennekens – one of our authorized agents in California visited one of the events at Dana Pointe this weekend to discuss SafetyStreamers! Here are a few highlights from the visit..

Some of the events happening for Safe Boating Week– life’s a beach!

At noon everyone put on a life jacket and participated in the Ready, Set, Wear It! – lifejacket world record event

Just across the harbor  is the Dana Point Harbor Yacht Club.  Canons were heard from this ship which signaled the opening of yachting season for this yachting club.  They celebrated with a yacht parade, You can see the yacht club just passed the ship. Judgeing by size of that yacht, the SUPERstreamer would be the better fit!

Later that same day - the Sea Fare event focussing on boat safety at the King Harbor Yacht Club in Redondo Beach.  We spoke to people from the American Sailing Association ASA, the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, and the United States Power Squadrons who educate boaters about boat safety.  Introduced the Safety Streamer and received a lot of positive responses.  It was a very exciting day!

Thanks again to Serina who attended this National Safe Boating week event – looks like great fun! SafetyStreamers were glad to be there communicating about the versitilty of the product and the simplicity of the design. Always ensure you are wearing a life vest regardless of your marine activity, it pays to be prepared.
